Community Day October 2009

Following the very successful tidy up of the Recreation Ground last April another Community Day was held on the 10th October 2009. Those of you who have been down to the Recreation Ground since will have noticed a big difference to the entrance as well as the whole area now being free from litter and two new seats carved from the old logs. The Parish Council would like to thank the volunteers for their hard work. They were treated to a well deserved lunch and with the sun shining down it was a very enjoyable day. The Parish Council would also like to thank Teignbridge District Council for providing equipment and sending in the Blitz team to collect the rubbish as well as our County Councillor Chris Clarance for his support.

If you were unable to come along and join in this time, another Community Day will be held in the Spring and notices will be put up nearer the time with the details.
