Gráinne Staunton trained with Tozers before qualifying as a solicitor in our private client department. She has gained experience in a broad range of areas including probate, wills, trusts, tax planning and Court of Protection work relating to Lasting Powers of Attorney and the appointment of Deputies.

Ted Foulkes is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and has been with Tozers since 1978. Prior to that he worked for a bank trust department and Ted has exceptionally wide experience in a range of areas including wills, probate, trusts and inheritance tax planning.

Sue Thulborn is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and first joined Tozers in 1978 and, after a short break, she returned to Tozers in 1992. Sue's area of specialism is probate, wills and trusts.

Sue Halfyard is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and has been with Tozers since 1986. Sue's area of expertise is in probate and wills.

Patrick Towey joined Tozers in 1987 having qualified as a solicitor in 1985. He is a partner and specialist family practitioner and was formerly Head of the Family Department, carrying out that role for over 7 years during which period Tozers Family Department expanded greatly and became and continued to remain recognised in Chambers Directory and the Legal 500 as a division one department for family law.

Patrick is a Resolution accredited specialist with particular specialism in advanced financial provision and domestic abuse. He is also a trained collaborative family lawyer through Resolution. He is named in the Legal 500 as having a 'general family practice'.

Patrick lives in Torquay and is married with three children. He graduated in law at Sheffield University and completed his training contract in Manchester having spent his formative years in the North West of England.

Tony Wood is a partner who joined Tozers in 2002. He qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and since that time has specialised as a family practitioner dealing with all aspects of family law.

Tony is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel. His work includes him representing parents, grandparents, children and Children's Guardians during the course of Public Law Proceedings which means he is regularly appearing in court representing his clients. Tony also deals with all other areas of family law including disputes over residence and contact, divorce and financial and property issues arising from divorce proceedings, separation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements and the preparation of civil partnerships. He also deals with co-habitee disputes.

Chris Hanbury has been with Tozers for 25 years and has gained a strong reputation for his work in the property field. He is very experienced in high value landlord and tenant work and acts for developer clients.

He has considerable expertise in dealing with sales and purchases of commercial and investment properties.

Angela Gregory is a licensed conveyancer and has been with Tozers since 1988. She joined Tozers shortly after moving from the South East to Devon and has broad experience in residential property work.

Claire Dell returned to Devon after some years away in 1996. Claire joined Tozers in April of that year working initially in the Newton Abbot office. She transferred to the Teignmouth office in 2004.

Claire specialises in residential conveyancing and has built up a reputation of being both speedy and efficient in her service to clients. She is regularly recommended by her clients to their friends and family as well as being recommended by the local estate agents.
